Install and open the 2tap app.
Log in through your official email ID provided by Rajya Sabha and enter your password which you use to login to access the official email account. The “2tap App” is securely integrated with the NIC provided official email ID. The system will generate the OTP to the registered mobile number in your official email ID.
After successful verification of your official email ID “2tap App” shall bind your current mobile number and device ID to create a secure triplet pair of security. For this the App will ask for sending a long code SMS using secure NIC SMS service gateway. The system will automatically verify the mobile number and device ID. After this step of verification you can return to the “2tap App” to do the transactions.
Allow requested permissions (SMS, location, notifications, gallery, camera).
The system will enforce the biometric / face ID for additional security. Enable biometric authentication (Face ID or fingerprint) for quick and secure access. If it’s not set up on your device, you’ll be redirected to Settings to configure it. You may also choose to skip this step.
For a transaction a separate Secure Key needs to be set up. This digital PIN shall be used for digitally signing all the relevant documents that need to be submitted by Members. E.g. attendance, claim submission and other requests. A system will ask to set up a Secure Key. Set your Secure Key (first 3 digits auto-filled from your Division Number, last 3 digits set by you). This will ensure that your three digits are easily remembered in combination with your division number.
