What happens to the residential entitlement in case an Officer of Parliament passes away while in office?

Modified on Mon, 7 Apr at 4:55 AM

Under the Salaries and Allowances of Officers of Parliament Act, 1953, the family of the deceased Officer of Parliament is allowed to stay in the official residence for one month rent-free. They may continue to occupy the residence for another month by paying rent as prescribed and covering electricity and water charges.
