Can a member revoke granted leave of absence?

Modified on Thu, 17 Apr at 1:21 AM

No formal provision exists to revoke leave of absence once granted. However, if a member attends the House during the period for which leave was sanctioned, the unexpired portion of the leave automatically lapses from the date of resumed attendance. Thus, there’s no restriction on attending the House during the leave period, and no need to formally revoke the leave.
