How does the Rajya Sabha commemorate Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

Modified on Fri, 11 Apr at 7:39 AM

If the Rajya Sabha is in session on 6th or 9th August, the House traditionally observes a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This practice continued until 2012, serving as a solemn expression of solidarity with the cause of global peace.
