Modified on Fri, 28 Mar at 5:57 AM

A Starred Question is one where the answer is given orally in the House. MPs can also ask follow-up (supplementary) questions after the Minister's reply, where as, an Unstarred Question is answered in writing. No supplementary questions are allowed, and the written reply is laid on the Table of the  House.
