Can attendance records be supplied to a court of law?

Modified on Thu, 17 Apr at 2:44 AM

Yes, but only under specific conditions. If the House is in session, permission of the House is required. If it is not in session, the Chairman may grant permission. A precedent occurred in 1964 when extracts from the Attendance Register were certified and sent to a Sessions Judge after the Chairman’s approval.
