What is the practice of valedictory remarks in the Rajya Sabha?

At the conclusion of each session, it is customary for the Chair to deliver valedictory remarks, thanking members and party leaders for their cooperation. This practice began with the 37th Session. Party leaders may also make observations on the conduct and productivity of the session during this time.
